Looking South at the architect's Version 3. Some have noticed the scale is much like a Carnival Cuise ship docked along New Hampshire Street. Unfortunately if built it will not sail away for 100 years. Few oppose new development: but it's never necessary to destroy historic properties.

The step-downs on the back side of the 900 NH proposal are claimed to merge well with the historic neighborhood. They don't really change its excessive height and mass.
Allen Fieldhouse is so large it's the biggest building many people have ever seen. Here it is pictured to scale next to the Monster proposed for 900 New Hampshire Street. The image shows the width of Allen: it's long enough to go into the next block. The Version 3 proposal for 900 NH is 220 x 110 feet, and 73 feet high at the south end. At the highest point inside the peak Allen Fieldhouse is 75 feet high.
